Nathan Jonas «Joey» Jordison is an American rock musician. He is best known for his role as the drummer for the band Slipknot. He is also well known as the guitarist for Murderdolls, a glam metal/horror punk band which he founded in the 2000s, that is currently on hiatus due to the Murderdolls’ members’ main projects. As of 2007, he is also Black Metal band Gorgoroth’s live drummer for the United States. In 2006, he was the drummer for the industrial metal band Ministry. For the most of 2007, Jordison took over the drumming duties for the nu-metal band Korn before going back to the studio to work on Slipknot’s fourth studio album. In the summer of 2004 at Download Festival, Lars Ulrich of headliners Metallica was unable to perform with the band. Jordison stepped up and filled in for Ulrich. Joey played most of the set with Metallica. Lars Ulrich (born December 26, 1963) is the drummer and co-founder of Metallica. He was born in Gentofte, Denmark to an upper middle-class family. A tennis prodigy in his youth, Ulrich moved to Los Angeles, California at age seventeen to pursue his training, but instead of playing tennis, he ended up as a drummer. After publishing an advertisement in a local Los Angeles newspaper called The Recycler, he met James Hetfield and formed Metallica. Metallica is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1981.[1] Metallica has become one of the most commercially successful musical acts of recent decades, and are considered

Nothing Else Matters by Metallica Acoustic Cover (w/Tabs).

Metallica — St. Anger Metallica finally gets to express their musical desires with St. Anger. With guitars dropped to C tuning, and louder drums, Metallica gets what they have wanted for a long time. «St. Anger» was the first single from Metallica’s 8th studio album, St. Anger. Lyrically, the song deals with controlling anger and channeling it into positive energy. Interestingly, the lines «Fuck it all, fucking no regrets; I hit the lights on these dark sets» are loosely recycled from the song «Damage, Inc.» (from the Master of Puppets album) and also reference «Hit The Lights», the opening track for their debut album Kill ‘Em All. The «St. Anger» video, directed by The Malloys, was shot in San Quentin State Prison, California. The band played at various locations in the area to hundreds of enthusiastic inmates. It is also the first Metallica video to feature bassist Robert Trujillo who joined just prior to filming. This song was used as the theme for WWE’s SummerSlam in 2003 (the music video was included in the pay-per-view DVD). The song was also nominated for a MTV Video Music Award in 2003, but lost to Linkin Park’s «Somewhere I Belong». ST. ANGER Saint Anger ’round my neck Saint Anger ’round my neck He never gets respect Saint Anger ’round my neck You flush it out, you flush it out Saint Anger ’round my neck You flush it out, you flush it out He never gets respect Fuck it all and no regrets I hit the lights on these dark sets I need a voice to let myself To let

*Disclaimer: I do not own any clips or music. All clips and music belong to their respectfull owners. I do not earn any money with this video. This video is for enjoyment purposes only. Here’s another video I made of a Metallica song with lyrics. Fade to Black, from the album Ride the Lightning. I honestly feel like this video kinda sucks, and it’s a bit lame. Yeah, I know, I guess that’s what 14 year olds are used to making. (Yes, I was 14 when I made this video. As of Nov. 12, 2010, I am 2 years older). But, I hope you guys enjoy it. I made it because of the popularity of the older video, and this song is excellent. I made the video before when I was only 13, and somehow it’s not as lame (except maybe for the quotes :P). But yeah, you guys probably wonder what goes on in my mind when I make these videos. Anyway, enjoy. Subscribe. You know how it goes.

As I was goin’ over the Cork and Kerry Mountains I saw Captain Farrell and his money, he was countin’ I first produced my pistol and then produced my rapier I said, «Stand and deliver or the devil he may take ya» I took all of his money and it was a pretty penny I took all of his money, yeah, and I brought it home to Molly She swore that she loved me, no, never would she leave me But the devil take that woman, yeah, for you know she tricked me easy Musha rain dum a doo, dum a da Whack for my daddy, oh Whack for my daddy, oh There’s whiskey in the jar, oh Being drunk and weary I went to Molly’s chamber Takin’ Molly with me but I never knew the danger For about six or maybe seven, yeah, in walked Captain Farrell I jumped up, fired my pistols and I shot him with both barrels Yeah, musha rain dum a doo, dum a da, ha, yeah Whack for my daddy, oh Whack for my daddy, oh There’s whiskey in the jar, oh Yeah, whiskey, yo, whiskey Oh, oh, yeah Oh, oh, yeah Now some men like a fishin’ but some men like the fowlin’ Some men like to hear, to hear the cannonball roarin’ But me, I like sleepin’, ‘specially in my Molly’s chamber But here I am in prison, here I am with a ball and chain, yeah Musha rain dum a doo, dum a da, heh, heh Whack for my daddy, oh Whack for my daddy, oh There’s whiskey in the jar, oh, yeah Whiskey in the jar, oh Musha rain dum a doo, dum a da Musha rain dum a doo, dum a da, hey Musha rain dum a doo, dum a da Musha rain dum a doo, dum a da, yeah

I’m playing along to the middle section of «Metallica — Master of Puppets», including the solos. At the time I recorded this video, I didn’t have the tremolo bar for the Floyd Rose system, so I used pinch harmonics and bends for the squealie part of the solo. (I have since acquired a new tremolo bar.) I have received many comments about the first part of the interlude being played «too high». People making such comments don’t realize that this part is a dual guitar harmony. James and Kirk each play a separate melody (one high and one low) to produce a very nice harmony. On the studio album, the high part of the harmony is much lower in the mix, hence the reason it sounds a bit strange when I play it in this video. However, if you listen to any live version of the song you will clearly hear this. If you still don’t believe me, I have cut out a small audio clip of their performance with the SF orchestra and isolated Kirk’s harmony part.

Metallica — Fuel This is the new Metallica-sound, or not the new but this is some of their newest stuff. And that is not as popular and good as the classic Metallica stuff, just so you know: Metallica play Thrash-Metal too:) «Fuel» is the opening song from Metallica’s ReLoad album. It stems from the thrill of fast driving and street racing. The song could also be applied to the fact that people like to drive their lives (like their cars) too fast. It is one of James Hetfield’s favorite songs as he later said before a concert played at an Oakland Raiders game,»We have to play Fuel…’cause it gets me pumped up.» (taped on Some Kind of Monster) Another interpretation of this song, which reflects the external struggles of the band members themselves as well as the personal lyric style James Hetfield adopted beginning with The Black Album, suggests that the song is about addiction. Specifically the addiction may be Hetfield’s alcoholism, but it could be a reference to any sort of addiction. It is a reference to whatever it may be that fuels a person. Further, it may reflect Hetfield’s decision to substitute his love of cars and racing for his love of alcohol. This is evidenced throughout the entire song and survives interpretation; the song may get the band and the crowd «pumped up,» but it is by no means as simple a song as it appears. The song was written by Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, and Kirk Hammett, and was the third single from the album. It is now a permanent fixture at

The Unforgiven is the fourth song on the album Metallica (The Black Album). Lyrics: New blood joins this earth And quickly he’s subdued Through constant pained disgrace The young boy learns their rules With time the child draws in This whipping boy done wrong Deprived of all his thoughts The young man struggles on and on he’s known A vow unto his own That never from this day His will they’ll take away-eay Chorus: What I’ve felt What I’ve known Never shined through in what I’ve shown Never be Never see Won’t see what might have been What I’ve felt What I’ve known Never shined through in what I’ve shown Never free Never me So I dub thee UNFORGIVEN They dedicate their lives To RUNNING all of his He tries to please THEM all This bitter man he is Throughout his life the same He’s battled constantly This fight he cannot win A tired man they see no longer cares The old man then prepares To die regretfully That old man here is me What I’ve felt What I’ve known Never shined through in what I’ve shown Never be Never see Won’t see what might have been What I’ve felt What I’ve known Never shined through in what I’ve shown Never free Never me So I dub thee UNFORGIVEN whoa, whoa Never Free Never Me So I dub thee UNFORGIVEN
